Life
Members: Life
Membership is the highest honor that can be conferred upon any
member of the fire
company
after a combined total of fifteen (15) years of service, and in good
standing, in appreciation of his/her volunteer service.
Active
Members: Active Members are the firefighting core of the
fire company.
Support
Members: Fundraising
Membership classification shall include any person the membership
feels may contribute to the continuing process and well being of the fire
company.
Probationary
Members: An
applicant
is first initiated into the fire
company
as a Probationary Member for a minimum probationary period of one (1)
year without payment of dues and without voting privileges.
A Probationary Member cannot be considered for Active or
Company Membership until he/she is at least eighteen (18) years of
age. An Active-Probationary Member must have completed required
firefighter training prior to being initiated into the Active
Membership.
Junior
Members: Individuals under the age of eighteen (18) years of
age wishing to join the fire company will be assigned to the Junior
Corps and are subject
to all pertinent laws, regulations and rulings governing the
employment of minors.
Honorary
Members: Honorary
Membership may be conferred on any citizen of the United States that
is not in any membership class of the fire company
in appreciation of service or assistance that benefits the fire
company
in part or whole. Honorary
Members of the FIRE
COMPANY
have no rights or privileges as members of the fire
company and are not permitted to hold
any office or have voting privileges.
